We don't have details of the employment contracts for the sales force at APDN.
For example, does Miglani get a commission if he brings a Pfizer to the table? Has he been guaranteed stock or options?
Many years ago I worked as controller of a soft drink company. The admin staff hated the sales staff and vice versa. The head of sales made more that the CEO. And had the nerve to drive a better car.
The point is simple, sales are quantifiable and R&D is questionable.
Hayward is and always has been R&D.
At this stage APDN needs to switch the scientists with sales staff in the key positions.
Also, to McSharkey, I hope u r feeling better. I also want to reiterate: your quiery to Hayward was relating to past periods of performance. Stock options/bonuses are for performance. Was was the performance, fye 9/30/16 that these Christmas options relate to? Blackouts would not preclude Hayward from commenting or even. Enter, explaining this. If I owned a share, I'd hold his feet to the embers on this. This is a very important line of inquiry and the source of much consternation to potenyinvestors I talk to.
