The only rationalization I can see for the two companies is that it seems to me that a THC breathalyzer would be easier and quicker to get to market because it only has to overcome legal hurdles. A big task, that will be argued much like the alcohol breathalyzer was until it became mainstream but the Breathtec device to detect disease will face the scrutiny of Health professionals and the legal professionals.

I disagree. FDA approval clears legal and healthcare scrutiny in one fell swoop. Peer groups across the globe have taken the Na-Nose through the paces. A marathon of scrutiny! The Na-nose is ready for primetime.

Financially I think the Breathtec device will generate more dollars but because disease affects everybody but will be more difficult to get to market.

Partial Agreement. The market for Breathtec is off the chart. Nov/Dec 2017 will be a pivotal point that determines marketing ability. It may be possible to have a product on the shelf 1st quarter 2018!
