I wondered that for a while but ur theory sounds about right. Or they borrow and get it elsewhere very fast. Wish i knew what and how they do all this. Been seeing stranger trading the past few years than usual. But might see short interest show. though sometimes i see it show then no trades happen after and it somehow disappears anyways...
