Maybe Sessions confirmation is not as bad as we thought. (Many MJ stocks are up today)
If Sessions intends to carry out enforcement of federal law that has been largely ignored due to the massive proliferation of state to state legalization, he would be setting up a showdown of biblical proportions. The feds would then be made to look like true fools having issued their own patent on the substance for its neuroprotectant and antioxidant properties (medical benefits), and having allowed the infrastructures of countless businesses who depend on the current legal framework to conduct their business (involving millions of people who have abandoned their 9-5's to engage in startup businesses) only to let it all crumble to the ground and destroy a now entrenched and expanding industry.
Think about it.....from a geopolitical standpoint, with the value of the dollar having weakened against other currencies, does anyone really think The Donald will allow this dinosaur Sessions and his hard on for cannabis to trump the broader goal of making America the super power it once was?? It's actually absurd to think that will occur. We have come a long way from the days of Reefer Madness folks! See the writing on the walls here and realize the fear many have about Jeff Sessions is completely ridiculous. Wait on the sidelines if you must, but I'm loading all I can across the sector NOW before what I know to be true is confirmed.
