Maybe they got their broker to buy their shares just to get the tax write off. AMNE still shows up in my Scottrade account but the value has dropped below the commission. I'd have the expense of a broker assisted trade if I wanted to badly get rid of them. I can avoid doing that if the SEC formally revokes the registration.

There's no value in this as a shell. A medical cannabis company with a very similar name is NASDAQ listed with its own symbol.
