UC San Diego has huge algae research facility.

As first article states, much of the activity centered around algae biofuels, now pivoting to nutrition and supplements. Much lower barriers to entry a greater $ per gallon vs biofuel. Looks like there is capacity as a result of pivot away from biofuels.

Now if only Zivo could get its act together. Maybe they are talking to one of these companies for production capacity. Overseas would also be quicker to market acceptance. I believe Dahl also hinted at "off take" agreements internationally.
