Yes, I saw that, and appreciated it as a following article to the Andy Hoffman piece I posted.

Eik posted a good piece more or less related about seizing immigrants gold and valuables - same excuse, to combat "terrorism."

As you know from my profile picture, I'm a huge Perry Mason fan. They periodically refer to $500 and $1000 bills during the show. When's the last time any of us saw a 1,000 dollar bill?

As it is, you already have to fill out paperwork at the bank to withdraw more than 5,000 at a time.

It may make a certain amount of sense to convert 100's to 20's in case they try to pull the same stunt here, which In time I think they will.

In the mean time I just keep stackin' !

In the "chemo lounge" all day today. Gonna be sick over the whole weekend dammit, but at least the results of the last CT scan were encouraging. Stable, no growth of the tumor. We couldn't kill it outright, but have been able to stop the growth which is the next best thing.
