this isnt about SP or EPS this is about a POS and the claimed ESP of stock watchers who believe fantasy accounting.

consider this ROI: announce earnings, wait for the window to open for share sales by affiliates and non affiliates. make massive PR newswire announcements with heave legal disclaimers. unload lots of shares.

so the PR neeswire costs $1000USD. the conference call takes maybe 3 hours of prep and execution, and 4 guys on the call make prearranged comments and statements.

people dump maybe a million dollars in stock. what they cannot sell they borrow against. probably another 2 million dollars.

thats maybe 700,000USD per hour of work for doing a quarterly filing and a PR announcement. who could get better ROI than that?

management running low on stock? compensation committee and supervoting management just top themselves up again.
