I've been a Methodist all my life, the old Methodist style, baptized in a back creek in W.Va., the old church where testimony took place every Sunday, back yrs ago we had on Sunday a morning service, a night service and a Wednesday Prayer meeting...In the Methodist church things have changed greatly, but I believe this is true in every organized religion....they all have a very dirty front porch...I made mention of this back a while ago....out in Texas the Methodist installed a Lesbian Bishop, her wife was at the installation....that Sunday I went to my preacher and ask----Are we going to be a Bible believing church or follow suit----The Methodist are made up of several different districts, what one district does is totally up to them and no one can over rule that district.....my district is a Bible believing group, all bishops have written letters against these actions of these weird churches...I learned...but one can not judge all Methodist by the actions of these screw balls out west.....

by the Bible all this crap has been going on for years in one way or another, PC crap started on little things, we need to accept this or that, little things which really did not seem to make much difference, then a little mound of dirt turned into a mountain.....The Church is the body of Christ---The Church is you and me and all believers in God, Jesus, & the Holy Spirit---IMO the term Church has been hi-jacked by evil and those sitting in the congregation had no nads to speak up for fear of offending some one. Peter wrote and I am not giving an exact quote here, but-----Judgment starts at the door of the church----Now I know I am a Royal Pain in the rear, but for me, judgment starts at my front door, me doing self examination and trusting the Holy Spirit to help me along my way, once I am on my way with this, then judgment starts at my local church building, I can not go further than that....If we look back at James, John, Peter etc, etc, it was the Holy Spirit who lead the way, IMO today we rely way too much on mankind and neglect the Holy Spirit. One last point, many sermons are based on 2 minutes of Scripture reading and 20 minutes of personal opinion, jus say'n...

Now this is just me, not say'n this concerning any one else, just me.....I struggle every stinking day with right and wrong, I have a tendency to often lean to the wrong side...lol....now those days where I awake and before getting out of bed, I 1st thank God for another day, then get my coffee and talk with God and read the Scripture, and throughout the day make myself aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit----these days are my better days...I have learned that on those days where I do not follow this pattern----these are my bad days---imagine that...

remember that song, "I am the Church, You are the Church, we are the Church together"-----Back to the top, The Methodist are in deep stuff and facing what appears to be a split in the Methodist religion and this is sad....IMO this should be a wake up call for all Christians of whatever denomination, when we become complacent, when we think all is well, when we justify our actions to fit our lives, when we silently sit by and ignore the devil at work----the end of our faith is in sight...

Did not mean to ramble on & on, but I think our faith is bad need of prayer and the Holy Spirit.....
