For the most part Mr Smith has been buying on the open market. This private placement is to help fund the company. He basically did it at current market price. Most if not all private placements are done at a discount. He's been very above board and has done a commendable job with the company and the stock. The news of clinical trials is in the hands of University of Alberta and then Health Canada. Unfortunately PKTX cannot speed that process up. That being said, the application coming from the university holds much more sway and backing then if it did come from pktx and it would have taken years to get application filed. This has been done in record time.
