...there is one big big disadvantage resp risk with this kind of charging which is its high radiation and which might heavily increase someones cancer risk. Could you imagine what this would mean for a company like apple if people start to sue them because of disease/cancer...that's why I don't think this will materialize in the short/mid term unless this has proven its harmlessness.
