False Bid and Ask numbers by Market Makers and computer traders are common on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and other exchanges. The practice is sometimes referred to as "Quote Stuffing." I started trading online with Ameritrade in 1993. I paid dearly for what I learned. I really despise these nasty little tricks so I mention them often just so others will not get cheated. Many traders on this group don't believe me.
