RE GENE SEYMOUR I MUST AGREE WITH UBERNANO

Gene is an extremely charming and engaging guy. And after all is said I done I still find him likeable.

I once told Gene that he was too lucky - born with intelligence, charm, looks and the gift of gab and so everything came a little too easily for him. He's the kind of guy that had no problem getting a date with the prettiest cheer leader, he got good grades without studying, sailed into med-school, etc. I met his wife once at a shareholder meeting. She's not a young woman but is still quite beautiful and it's easy to see she was once a knockout.

But those natural gifts can only take one so far. In a way he was cheated out of the struggle that most of us have to go through to get anywhere and this sowed the seeds of his unbridled confidence. And then in NNVC - specifically its technical problems he met his match. It must be a bewildering experience to finally encounter something that does not come easily and then to bear the brunt of withering criticism.
