There is a bit of a disconnect between the medical scientific community and the financial community. And, even within the medical scientific community there is a disconnect. It is all natural because these are human systems. The best corollary I can think of is alzheimers disease. How many decades have we now been studying the removal of beta amyloid and tau and only now with Lilly's ceasing developing their last attempt in this class of drugs is the medical scientific community starting to open to new approaches. It will probably take a small lab to come across the next breakthrough in AD. Maybe the same for cancer. Everyone talks theoretical and what if this and that but no one really believes anything beyond the currently proven solutions until someone proves a new approach with data. If Roche studies something it immediately has to be a strong possible cure. If NWBO studies something it is a crapshoot because if it were not a crapshoot Roche would be studying it. Well BP is fallible. I think DC's have been deemed to be players but weak players because no one has perfected their use. There is a strong lean toward something more potent, something more synthesizable, something more controllable, something more commercializable, something which BP chooses to focus on because they are the leaders in determining where to spend R&D. However, BP is not always on the money, and, Wall St, who tends to follow BP is not always looking in the right direction. Until there is data, then medical scientific acceptance.

People like to think our rating agencies rate credit worthiness well, until the crash. People like to think we really know what is occurring in climate change until they peak beneath the hood at the data and the data collection robustness or lack thereof and then realize there are limitations to the conclusions we can yet draw. We find out that as much as we think there is perfection in human systems and our vast govt and industrial systems that there are flaws in human systems. DC's are the pinnacle of natural healing. We tend to discount the obvious. But, I think the utility of what NWBO is doing is very high and will bear itself out shortly, IMHO.
