That was 4 years ago and they had been given warning signs that it was high risk I am sure with 4 years in the future with as much scrutiny the DOE has been given from its recent MAJOR energy failures that were even all over the news then I am pretty sure it will be a miracle to say the least for them to let things slip through again. (The current administration does not want that headache again).

And the theoretical modeling you are referring to is referring to the fact that the battery should be producing more energy storage than what it currently is. SO if you look at the actual grant then you can clearly see what both grants where meant for as they state exactly what they are for. To advance what they currently have and make them more efficient by processes you mention so they have to be in such phase and lab to do that. Which is why they got the grade they have for where there tech is.

WIth thyis being said it still doesnt mean anything as far as which way the tech will go NEAH can still fail with this product or then can still succeed time will tell.

But for goodness sake stop trying to be slick and word play around what actually is going on at the lab. We went over this before people dont make NOJAY have to bring this up and explain this again lol just playing its all good.

GO ARGONNE!!!!

lol
