Are You Weak Enough?
“But He (Christ) said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” ~ 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Have you ever felt too weak to win the battle? Friend, you may not be weak enough. God identifies Himself with our obedient weakness. It is when we stop trying and start trusting that God’s power can be manifest. You see, your weakness is not a liability; your weakness is an asset. The battle is not yours; it is the Lord’s!
If only we could learn that God does not need our strength. God calls for our obedience! God has the strength. And He wants to give you that supernatural strength in place of your own. It is not your ability; it is your availability. It is not your fame; it is your faith. It is not who you are; it is Whose you are!
