Theres an Ole earthly saying, "You dont do wrong and get by with it". Now, the not getting by with it can come in many earthly forms. It can have the consequences of dealing with the police and a court of law. It can give a person grief in their mind or heart from their conscience for a short or long period of time. There can be repercussions from other people. There are many ways that we can have to pay the price for doing things that are against the earthly laws or by hurting someone in some way or taking advantage of folks or circumstances. Well folks, the same goes with our loving heavenly Father. God loves us totally and completely. He wants the very best for us. However i can assure you of this. Just like our earthly father that disciplined us, corrected us, busted our hind end. When we do wrong...SIN...and we are born-again...its NOT a free ride. Now... im not saying every time we sin a bolt of lightning is going to take a crack at us. What im saying is that when we keep on sinning day after day...when we have become comfortable with engaging in a certain sin over and over...God is going to discipline us...correct us in some way because He loves us to much to just watch us do as we please and continue to screw our lives up... and...hinder our relationship with him. Now...im not going to sit here and say what that might be but if prayer seems not to be answered...if hardship comes your way....if blessings seem to have dried up...think about it...God will find a way to get our attention! It might be next week, next year...but...even as a born-again believer...with God..."You dont do wrong and get by with it".
