Intel hires the ARM strategy guy to head IoT:

https://newsroom.intel.com/editorials/new-leader-intels-iot-business-elevating-automated-driving/?cid=em-elq-20688&utm_source=elq&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20688&elq_cid=1497437

Renduchintala penned the announcement, not Krzanich.

Oddly enough, he also announced Doug Davis has "postponed" his retirement to become Sr. VP and General Manager of the Automated Driving Group. Prior to announcing his retirement at the end of the year, Doug had headed the IoT Group. It appears Doug and the guy from ARM will be peers (both Sr. VP/General Managers).

Will this usher in a new era for Intel or will it continue to screw itself into the ground in finding new growth opportunities? I surely do not know.
