Don't know if you're following the news about why the feds cannot/will not prosecute?, basically because the feds cannot afford the tremendous costs(just court costs alone) of doing so. The US has more than enough deficits on their books than to spend hundreds of millions in an unpopular move. Trump will be in a greater hole if his AG decides to try; not a good move.
