You guys. I never could afford a car I desperately wanted. Worked a whole summer saving up for my Thunderbird down payment only to lend it to the Diner quy owner who never paid me back.......... At college got stuck in a hilly city which threatened long walks in Cincinnati.....
Got most of my rides behind a motorcycle.
Still have car envy as deep dented a startling starting fold on whole driver side of my eventual broken down Bonneville 67
in a fit of impatience ( weaving where no sane weaver would go), and never really drove again except for some rental car trips.
