Just a quickie. Where's Cyclone's LENR project stand?

Mind you, when I went over the proof that had been provided, I noticed that there were indeed periodic spikes during which output exceeded input. I also noted that input exceeded output for most of the tests and that the energy balance was reasonably negative.

Having limited imagination, it was easier to assume that the system was storing energy and, occasionally, releasing part of the energy. That fit the facts more closely, anyhow, especially given that they provided no data showing radiation or particle release --- likewise no evidence that hydrogen was being transformed into helium. My energy storage and release theory is the sort of thing happens in all kinds of chemical reactions, such as photoluminescence and electrical batteries.

Nevertheless, I don't claim to be a nuclear physicist and have only a passing amount of experience in the field... I'll freely admit I'd be the most excited guy around if cold fusion actually works. I'd also be highly stunned, but my prejudice is showing, I certainly won't go on a limb and claim it is impossible. Anyone know where things stand?
