If one look at Atakan Peker recent patent, one can spin off infinite amount of variant BMG. Liquidmorphium is one of the output.

With that being said, Li (owning patent of Liquidmorphium) ultimately have to remove the Liquidmorphium brand name (according to Gamesc).

That was the prerequisite before the Li/LQMT deal is made public.

How much does Apple have to do with this? We can only guess.

With Li/LQMT/Apple combination, I see no chance of any "liquid metal" variant will survive (ultimately).

In the meanwhile, there is no reason for Li/LQMT/Apple to stop "innovation" upon BMG. It is free research that ultimately can be made to use.

BTW, Apple already have CIP coverage on PCB (Printed Circuit Board) via LiquidMetal. When those patent (ever put in to use), they can take exclusive upon transformation of "micro electronic" into "nano electronic"
