I think this will be the moment we see an arbitrage between the paper and physical market, especially if the far east makes its play at that time. As far as when the inflation gets crazy, that's going to be a confidence issue. I mean, if capital controls go on and you can't access your bank account and suddenly the next week when you can and there is 10k in it, will you have the courage to hold or spend? I feel that the mentality of Americans now, that have been living paycheck to paycheck so long, that money won't be hoarded. However, if capital controls stay tight and you can only draw a few hundred a day or week... that inflation will take time. Just my thoughts on it.
