TCE: I got a decent discount from Verizon...

But you are right it is the same price on Verizons website. I am used to Macs where you pay over a thousand dollars for the iMac and you really do pay an Apple tax there. I would expect accessories to be more expensive and I don't really like Apples closed garden philosophy. Still my significant other likes her iPhones(she has the 6 and 6 plus) and I did consider it. In the end it was just not my cup of tea.
