Here in the United States you dont have to have many years under your belt to be able to think back for a couple / three decades and see the dramatic change in the goings on here within the now 318 million people that live on planet earth. Im 60....and i can think back to a day not so long ago that here in Greene County that most everyone went to church be they saved or not. i can remember a day that pretty much everyone had a standard of living that was good and decent and again...be they saved or not. i dont think it a stretch of our imagination to also say that folks held close and dear to morals and values and they looked out for each other and cared for each other and most everyone really did love their neighbor to some degree or the other. We did not lock the doors to our house and we left the keys in our cars and tractors and we piled our stuff in the barn and smokehouse without any thought to anyone actually stealing anything. And when we did hear of crime the majority of the time it really didnt amount to much. Yes...just a couple / three decades have passed and as we know...the evil and wickedness of the United States has grown and traveled from east to west and north and south and we look at the daily goings on and we might think...What happened! Well...that actually is the easy question. "SIN"! Remember this has all happened once before that the world became so evil and wicked that God sent a flood to wipe the slate clean and start over with Noah and his seven family members. And...when we read scripture...Gods holy infallible word...we also find that those days will return to the earth and humans will once again travel down that road of destruction and again God will wipe the slate clean except this next time God will destroy everything and bring the madness of humans to a end. We are living in those days! But heres the good news. If we are a born-again believe God has prepared a home for us in heaven. However the other side of that is that God has also prepared a home for the unsaved in a horrific place called hell. So who are you serving today....how are you living? If you are a believer this madness is only temporary as we journey towards heaven...if you are a unbeliever this madness is nothing compared to the torment headed your way in hell....where are you headed?
