You (and the company) are making this out to be a big deal. It is not. The Trusted Platform Module (TPM) is based on a standard, developed by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) designed to secure hardware by integrating cryptographic keys into devices.

The standard has been around since 2006 and has undergone several iterations since then (now on version 2.0).

Almost any encryption-enabled application can, in theory, make use of a TPM. And almost any man+dog can write an application that uses the TPM (which is open source, not proprietary).

StrikeForce is NOT working WITH Intel. They are merely using a security utility provided on the platform which is also available to any other Tom, Dick or Harry who can string some code together.

Much was the same for Wave Systems (WAVX) who also claimed a "close" relationship with Intel (which wasn't close at all). They are now bankrupt and the stock is cancelled, leaving a wake of broke "investors" in their path.

How do I know this? I started working at Intel in 1982. Some of my last assignments prior to retirement were managing major platform security programs for them.

Just ask those WAVX "investors" who I warned before the fall.
