I wish, with all those recent movies and TV series involving time travel (aside from Dr. Who), we could either travel or send someone to the future and determine if the results were ever received and publicized between 2016 and 2066 (maybe I should go out even further). It might also give us a chance to see when Mir leaves the scene.
One has to wonder what the Board thinks and does at their web-based meetings (if even those still occur) and why they bother keeping him on.
As to resignation. Why would Mir wiah to do so? If you have a cow and she continues to give milk, why would you stop milking her or, in this instance, if you have a cash cow, why stop bilking her?
