It doesn't work that way. While the Rangers control Odor's contract, he will get whatever raises they offer him. He's not even arbitration eligible yet. However, if the Rangers want to approach him about a long term contract, they can certainly do that. In other words, if the Rangers chose to, they could keep him at the league minimum.
