Google makes their money with customers using the Cloud though, so what motivation do they have to add more local storage?

I've been dealing with a memory leak in a trading application that I use. It runs around 400 MB and then, after running for a while, runs up to 11 GB at which point I kill it. The same application works just fine in Windows 7, even running in a W7 VM on W10! A friend of mine is having some major problems with the latest W10 update in that it's slowed performance to a crawl. I was able to help him to fix one issue but there's more than one problem in the latest round of updates.

I looked around and there are a fair number of people out there with issues, sometimes on old hardware, sometimes device drivers made on systems before Windows 10. I would have expected Microsoft to have fixed these problems by now.
