No team has been hit with the injuries the mets have, and when you start a pitcher named Gilmartin or montero, you can lose to anyone, in fact montero was so bad he went to double A, because he was awful in triple A, The rangers, nats, dodgers or no one was missing 5 starting pitchers and a ton of position players, that is a bit much. And these guys aren't ordinary guys either, their high quality starters that are missing. it is amazing Lugo and Gsellman have come in and done well considering. But every team has a breaking point when it comes to injuries. If the mets were fully healthy they would be dangerous when they are going well to anyone including the cubs, because when you roll out a rotation of Harvey, Synderguaard, Degromm, Matz, wheeler and Colon that is pretty good. Add in familia and reed have been good overall. You have a shot against anyone. Now with 4 of those guys down unless lugo and gsellman pitch well in the playoffs they have no chance against a team like the cubs. The cardinals and Giants didn't lose anyone compared to the mets, and the mets have still gained ground down the stretch, not that that is saying much.

Mets if Healthy are a high quality team (Not the best but high quality), they have never been anywhere near healthy all season. And each day the braves continue to win that arguement, just doesn't look so hot because they have been playing well over .500 for sometime now. And this has all happenened after they got freeman some protection in Kemp. They if they make the right moves, could be a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better team in 2017 in my opinion, like 500 or better.

The front office has been fine. Ownership well ownership I will leave it at that. This team was built to be a contender, but the injuries have derailed them a bit thankfully admittingly due to the crappy NL, that really only has three teams that have been good, the mets in my opinion even with the injuries are the 4th best and they won the first 2/3 against the phillies and anytime you start gilmartin/montero, you essentially forfeit the game anyways, and the mets almost still one that game despite having a 10-0 lead by the phillies, and using the vegas lineup, so I admit to you the phillies are bad although records don't tells you this this braves team is the 3rd best team in the NL east. You just don't see it, but they have made a lot of moves, They got inciarte back, they got flowers back, they brought in Kemp, they added swanson, add that to markasis and freeman and your lineup is alot more difficult to get through, and garcia is starting to become a hitter as well. Which is why they are like averaging close to 6 runs a game since the kemp trade this didn't happen by accident in my opinion, they have gotten waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better in my opinion.

As for being a brewers fan it has been rough, so I'm not gonna say otherwise. And it could be worse being a mets fan, the mets have a shot to make the playoffs, so that is good, but the injuries have just been fustrating there has been so many of them this season in my opinion, more then any other year I ever remember being a mets fan and alot of key injuries as well.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
