Scientists seem to think there is a threshold that once breached (and we are very close), will leave humanity in a bad place. The planet will survive as will many species on it, we might even be one of them, however if we are, the achievements of mankind will be erased in a catastrophic and apocalyptic environmental shift. The human race would be decimated, forced to migrate, and relegated to what are currently known as some of the least hospitable places on the planet. Think along the lines of the mammoths. As "natural" climate change occurred over hundreds of thousands of years, they were forced to move, lost their food supply, and the population was weakened, thinned and sickened and in the end only a small island of them survived for a while, until eventually- boom, dust to dust. Dinosaurs, if you believe they actually existed millions of years ago, were wiped out much faster due to an asteroid which again, forced a much quicker planetary environmental catastrophe.

If we all buy SUNW stock, and the company explodes in size, as we put the monopolistic utilities out of business, while we all go vegetarian, reducing the cattle farming operations to a fraction of their current size, which is actually the healthiest thing to do for both humanity as well as the planet, this damage control may reduce the amount of climate change to a survivable amount.

It's like the human brain needing oxygen. You can cut off the supply for a while, and be fine. If you cut it off for too long, however, then brain damage occurs. The longer you cut it off, the worse it's going to be, and it's different in each situation, but if you cut it off too long, death will inevitably occur.

A Solar electric economy is not only the future of the planet, but it's the savior of humanity as a species, as well as many other species. We're quickly getting into the "brain damage" area of climate change. The longer we pollute, the worse the outcome. And if we make no reasonable changes in the foreseeable future due to the greed of global corporations, extinction of humanity, and definitely the way of life as we know it will inevitably occur.

Happy Friday!
