Doonesbury cartoonist can see the future—1999 comic on Trump's media relationship is scary accurate

Cartoonist Gary Trudeau must be able to see in the future because this 1999 Doonesbury comic strip could not be more accurate. Donald Trump’s ability to manipulate the media has been no secret and the Pulitzer Prize-winning Trudeau absolutely nailed it almost 17 years ago:
