Wearing myself out going through the slide shows also posted by the DLA. So far, we're not cited anywhere, and I can make shit up and say this pertains to that. Don't feel right in dissing our benefactor like that. They held us afloat. I think they'll be changing our show from one trick pony, to three rings, still a circus.
Got some real concerns, vs. those crazy hallucinatory rampages I get when smoking JD Law's swamp cabbage:) Hopefully we get some real news SOON.
DLA's last couple joy rides round our center ring been hobbling at best. Cotton has become our one trick pony. We have through till December for the DLA to come out with their own policy.
IMHO, we'll be validated. Disappointed it hasn't happened yet. Been with DoD closing in on 40 Years. Thinking they're a little gun shy now. They've been burned supporting specific past technologies that waffled and died in the fight of the fittest.
Looking for the announcement when a standards group puts us in Eye-triple-EEE ain't done it. Neither has the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE, odd as that sounds).
SAE has a paperwork STD (standard) going around. One of the slide shows from DLA has an half-fast electronic industry sales group promoting their own paper trail standard, and that's BS.
