Very promising article. One of the industry challenges in recent years has been the lack of additional diseases for which cord blood therapy has been shown effective. I heard there have been some very preliminary promising indications for autism treatment in a Duke trial currently underway. Now one out of 47 babies eventually gets diagnosed with autism after an explosive increase in recent years. If cord blood treatment is proven to be effective, the US adoption rate could explode from its current stagnant 2%.
