Before shares in Kerr Mines lost almost all of their value, then-CEO and current Kirkland Lake Town Councillor Todd Morgan described his optimism with the progress of the company’s Larder Lake property, where BonTerra now operates, as previously reported by the Inquisitr.

“The gold was always there. We all believed in it a long time ago.”
Shortly before Morgan resigned from his CEO position in October 2013 and the subsequent pummeling of Kerr shares, dispatches from Larder Lake appeared positive.

“We have initiated shipment of the first 10,000 tonnes of ore from our McGarry mine for processing,” Morgan was quoted as saying in July of that year, as reported by Republic of Mining..."
