I'm missing the same info. . . nothing on the Mims FB page tell us what dept. is buying the plates. Just yesterday I had a conversation with a police officer near Olympia, WA about armor plates and could not give him any info on B.I.'s plates as I don't know what/if they are producing anything for LEO's to buy.

I would like to be able to point them to B.I. if there is something they can see 'somewhere' and get some pricing and availability info.

According to this officer, they are constantly looking for the 'next best' plate
