PM Miners were at such low lows back in December of last year that every one of them was a bargain. Now...not so much. The big players have bought in...made some good profit and are now looking for an exit point. Many miners have taken the windfall of higher PM values, and cheaper fuel costs (read lower operating costs) to pay down debt, and become more financially stable. But there is still some negativity and pessimism concerning PM that is out there. There are many mining stock pumpers (and dumpers) out there that will tell you paper is the place to be...for a quick buck. This is true, but I prefer to buy PM based on a longer term strategy. I like collectable mint products such as the ATB 5 oz...They are almost guaranteed to increase in value over time, instead of being tied to manipulated spot metal values like bullion. Better than bonds any day! S~P
