Your weakness will allow His power to shine.

What’s powerful enough to bring even strong and prideful men to their knees? The answer is Jesus Christ, and His powerful love. Now, it’s great to talk about Jesus and His great love, but I want to tell you today that it’s only when we come to the end of ourselves that we really begin to experience His love and power! No matter how strong we may think we are, we’ll all come to the end of ourselves someday. We’ll all come to the point of saying to the Lord, “I can’t do it on my own. I need you, Jesus.” Whether it’s earthly struggles or spiritual warfare that brings us to our knees, we need to learn that Christ is all we need. Have you ever been in a position where the only way out was a miracle? There is nothing like seeing God make a way where there is no way. That’s why it’s sad to see believers who struggle to fix problems on their own without the help of God. We need to understand that Christ brings us to the point of weakness not to break us or discourage us, but so that we might learn how to tap into His supernatural power! Christ wants us to turn to Him as our first reaction, not as our last resort. I don’t know if you’re riding high or flying low today. But whatever your situation, make things easier on yourself. Don’t try to do it all, or fix every problem, by yourself. Let Christ do His work in you today.

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses. . . . For when I am weak, then I am strong.
