FLI Charge? WTF! So, last year whenever they were acquiring Fli-charge I hadn't given 'wireless' charging much thought. Not meaning I didn't understand it previously, or heard of such technology, transference of electricity from one coil to another as that's a very minor trick. Transferring it through contacts, even more simple, a virtual H.S. electronics I-II class 'trick'

Then I discovered how much cash they wanted for their units, aligned with the pump stories of contracts to come from auto makers.

Yet reasoned, in the least the required receiver was little to nothing, which could be made in china to lower their entry price into the market. Potentially, though their propriety equipment could have additional costs to justify it's high price.

And up until a few months ago, while looking for interest in this crap, I discovered that, they have not even made fricken prototypes? And they're begging money in a fund raiser so when they've raised/ sold enough they'll actually make the dam thing?? SERIOUSLY?? SPIT!

WTF did these FH clowns buy??

Yet even then I really had not taken a look at what's out their, just my understanding as to how simple a receiver would be and otherwise sending/transformer equipment made in china, comparatively, FlCharge prices were asking to much.

Yet just how much, I hadn't checked except, a brief search. . .

But I got to say this now. Yesterday I did a little digging. 1st off, Fli-charge is not unique, all they claim, is the ability to charge twice as fast as what they call, "comparable wire free systems'.

Whelp so "What are they comparing to and how much?" is the road that sent me too.

On the average, at the bottom of the pile in 'wireless' chargers "Twice as much" is actually an attempt to recover the 30% loss cost in difference between plug-in and 'wireless'. I>E> you're sacrificing 30% of the energy used to recharge on low end wireless charging, paying for the luxury of not fiddling around with dam plugs and connectors.

So, to "Double" it you should expect an increase over standard ';wireless' charging energy loss and plug in too, where you're not simply enjoying a convenience but yet, 40% less energy transfer loss over a plug in transformer. Right?

WRONG! There are limitations over the ability to decrease the time to charge in all modern batteries, along with energy consumption too. It's of the greatest problems today to get E-cars going. It takes to much dam time if you're stuck empty!.. Yet, Mercedes clams they're going to punch a big A. hole in that with a newer type of battery!!. Claim they're gonna kick 'Tesla's BUTT!!! They're old news' that gigabyte plant all geared around Lithium batteries is a waste bucket. , when Mercedes is finished with em.. . they're talking 5 minutes and you can get another 60-70 miles.. ZOOM BOOOM!!! Cool!..

Regardless, Cheap-o wire free charging, you should expect 30% energy transfer loss over traditional plug in charges. and many claim to be 'the fastest" but, those that are at the limit without frying the battery. .

anyways, guess what? When I was searching for what China was doing, cheap A. pricing, my favorite place in retail is ebay. There's 1,000's of direct from china sellers competing against each other.

Did I say fli charge could do better on expenses, cost? SHE-IT!

It's so dam cheap, I couldn't resist buying my wife a few gifts for her cell phones. IPhone 5S receiver coil, circuit board in thin vinyl all assembled ready to go: $1.53.. That's right: 1 dollar and 53 cents, DELIVERED! Not exactly all pu-err-ty as, apple was out of the loop on 5 and 6, until added tech and programming to do without buying a receiver coil, so that's a tough spit deal for older Iphones. there's no space inside the Iphone, so, you have to live with crappy tape on back of it plugged into socket with a small tail sticking out about 1/8 and inch. .

Next, her Samsung Galaxy, insert-able, inside of the case, coil assembly, hidden, easy to do, open case set in and close it, Snap you're done! a whole $1.90 DELIVERED!

But wait, I need the energy transfer/transformer pads eh? that'll set me back right?

2 Dam bucks a pop! buy 1 or 10 free shipping!
we got auto charging, charge light indicators etc. the whole enchilada. Fli charge may be a little more convenient than this 2 buck chuck charge pad as it must be centered to charge,. need to ensure the charging light is on. reviews say, after two attempts, 'training' you'll learn the spot.

A whole $7.43 and I picked up, not 1/4 of a system, not 1/2 of one, not 1 dam system but 2!!! And all are the Qi, standard, state of the art, universal equipment.

Two dam complete systems for two different types off cell phones for a whole DAM 7 DOLLARS and 43 CENTS!!!

That's the bottom of the barrow, but lets take it up another.. because for about double the money I can buy two dam complete systems Qi standard, and hidden inside the phone cases too, unless a dumb IPhone 1- 5 or early 6 cause apple wasn't 'on the ball' that claim to be 150%.

On the cheap as well, I can buy larger pads like Fli has to charge multiple equipment all at the same time too!

wait, what was the differences? what's "Double"?

And WTF did FH buy??

[Qoute, Fli-Charge] Devices charge as quickly as plugging into the wall.

Enabled devices are compatible with all FLI Charge pads and surfaces.

FLI Charge’s products include power pads, charging cases for the most popular Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models as well as universal adapters for all other USB powered devices.

One of the key advantages of FLI Charge’s conductive wire-free charging technology is that all FLI Charge pads are compatible with all FLI Charge cases and universal adaptors. Furthermore, FLI Charge’s power pads are capable of powering multiple devices with cumulative power requirements in excess of 150 watts.

FLI Charge's product line is currently in production and will be available to consumers as soon as possible!

All I've got to say about this crap now,, is:

WTF??? a dam dongle plug in "Coin", dangling off my dam phone is a convenience??

Ya want to know why car manufactures balked and ran?

Why they're running all kinds of promotional pump to dump social media advertising to pump this CRAP??

Are you freaking joking??

my dam 7.53 bucks does have a energy transfer power loss, but 2 complete systems? D-E-L-I-V-E-R-E-D-!!!!!

yet, the next china level is only double it, or there about, lets call it 20 DAM bucks for two complete systems just to stay on a comparable high side of my cost. , no dam dongles, just as fast charging with no energy transfer loss

while Fli wants %150 dam bucks for less convenience??

BS! on that Pig!

the only dam technology this BS POS has here are FREAKING contact points connected to a dam wire!!>> That's not patent protected junk!, a stupid design is all it is because, dam contacts on a freaking +/- transfer coil is antique! Freaking Contacts are how we were charging freaking rechargeable equipment 60 dam years ago!

Ok and now I understand why this POS got the holey crap beat out of it, on those BS patent rights.

they're seriously STUPID, IGNORANT, or,, running a scam to get their payday off suckers on the stock market.

Disclaimer: No, I am not shorting this POS, but dam, hell, crap, sure as the sun sets daily, should be!! [wink]
