Re-check the filing and the news. There were a number of "clean up" actions regarding long-term debt holders that converted to stock just before the run-up. The last exercise of the put options was the day that Stapleton took over. This was obviously structured to provide value to those who had enough faith to float the company what they needed to hit what ECPN believed will be the remaining milestones necessary to attract a transaction (revenue generating JV, acquisition, or other). The move up has been with the strongest volume we've seen in a very long time. I'm expecting some strongly positive news based on this money flow and the announcements by Stapleton stating and reiterating that there will be news of a deal prior to the Annual Meeting in a few weeks.
