I took another look at the Tahoe-Reno dot com website yesterday and there are a lot more businesses than the last time I looked. Tesla is not the only serious employer on board already and there are a lot more in the pipeline. TRIC is going to be more than massive.

Reno is already rated as one of the ten most livable cities and that area (Reno Sparks region) is expecting 5000 new homes per year.
There is an Economic Planning Indicator Committee that released a report on it last year and they said; "One thing that’s important to note is that the projections aren’t just for Reno-Sparks but surrounding areas as well, said Brian Bonnenfant, project manager at the University of Nevada, Reno’s Center for Regional Studies. This means the growth will be a bit more spread out, especially when accounting for the TRIC factor and how it allows for growth in more affordable areas in Storey, Lyon and the Highway 50 corridor."


Storey, Lyon and Highway 50 have the potential to become part of a crescent Metropolis running from Boomtown all the way to the USA Parkway and on to Tahoe. (The TRIC is entirely non-residential and I believe that there will be commuters moving in on the Highway 50 side of the complex.)
