And in case you missed it the idea here is to enter the high tech fiber market.
While MS is a nice fiber it doesnt fit the high tech industry so it isnt really the goal. DS is a high tech fiber which is why it is getting ballstic testing.
Future fibers will ALSO be high tech fibers. For various high tech fields such as medical and electronics.
MS is a great fiber and is very usable in the fashion industry but fashion was not the goal. It is just a good place for that perticular fiber since it is much better than mundane silk.
