FNHC
Brought Some FNHC around 18.80. Here is what I like.
1) Earned .80 (Minus charges in q1) I expect even better results in q2 of say around $0.90-1.00.
2) I really like the management team these guys are skilled operators, and their auto business (Presented as other income, but in reality that is real business and I expect this growth to continue.) is very exciting meanwhile they continue to add policy count on their core business up 23% y/y considering this is basically organic growth is pretty impressive.
3) FNHC trade very close to book value, compared to some of it other competitors it is rather cheap on that front as well.
Conclusion: I think buying FNHC at the low end of the range is a good idea here, they are a well run company that has good growth in their core business but what I really like is their auto business, as I think that is very exciting growth prospects they are showing there in my opinion.
