I agree that immigration played a huge part in the voting.
Sometimes a single issue is strong enough to overshadow the aggregate alleged benefits of everything else.
However, its my belief this issue reached much further than just immigration alone. Coupled with immigration was the effect it already was causing on their society
Many didnt experience the economic benefits the EU was supposed to bring to them over the past 30 plus years and I think this was evidenced by the large voter turn out of older people to the Leave side.
Fear mongering went on with both sides but theres no arguing the culture and face of GB was changing in a manner that primarily caused their citizens to draw a line in the sand
Im not taking either side, its GB issue.. However, I certainly understand why
