Yellen's European vacation just got a little cheaper: the Fed chief will be headed to Linho Sintra, Portugal, to take part in a policy panel discussion before a timely ECB Forum on Central Banking on Wednesday from 9:30 ET. Ah, to be a fly on the wall. Three other Fedspeakers are scheduled over the week, including centrist Fed governor Powell who speaks on "Recent Economic Developments, Monetary Policy Considerations and Longer-Term Prospects" Tuesday from Chicago at 19 ET. St. Louis Fed hawk-dove Bullard presents "A New Characterization of the U.S. Macroeconomic and Monetary Policy Outlook," perhaps referring to his revelation last week that the Fed could be one and done (up or down?) for the next 30-months. Cleveland Fed hawk Mester speaks Friday from London on the economic outlook and policy from 11 ET before everyone heads for door early for July 4th.
