I appreciate your point but also know that many times lucrative shipwrecks have been found and although artifacts and treasure have been recovered, it doesn't necessarily mean the ship can be identified by name. The artifacts and coins certainly bring bearing on the dating period and if be a 1715 shipwreck, of course there aren't going to be any coins dating beyond this. In the case of SFRX they haven't even reached this point yet. Its rather obvious, the shipwreck isn't there. I thought thats what the permit was suppose to be all about. The ability to expand the area and try to define a trail (if there is one).
