He needs to add GE, Honda, Hasbro, Anheuser-Busch, and Sony to the list as well who have used crowdfunding websites to gauge interest on new products, all who have far more resources than FH.

The launch looks to be going very well and will likely see the goal met at some point today. The $89 and $149 options are the most popular. I am sure they are receiving a ton of data and metrics, ie views / conversion rates that can be used for future launches.

I can easily see the next step is to launch their own online store and try to get in big box retailers / AT&T,Verizon, Sprint stores.
