"Why did you leave?"
There were a number of reasons.. Ill try to cover most of them.
1. Bouncing Checks. - This was an ongoing issue since the Pittsburgh location opened. This company never offered direct deposit first of all. Checks only. We would have to drive to the latitude location to pick them up. This wouldn't have been that big of a deal if they had the checks there on payday, but the issue was sometimes they would not be there. Employees would sit there for hours waiting. The company would always make up an excuse to why they weren't there. " Fedex lost them" , "We switched banks" "We switched payroll services". It was serious bullshit. They treated us like sheep.
Then when we would actually receive the checks, everyone went to cash / deposit them all at once since we knew there wasn't that much money in the payroll account. Some places in the local area refused to cash latitude checks leaving some employees screwed. On top of that, I would have to check my account to make sure that the check didn't bounce. This sadly became a normal routine for a bunch of us. We filed complaints to the state many times, but nothing was ever done.
