Trip down memory lane...

lWLG modulators were supposed to be designed into the Large System Supplier (LSS) Ecosystem. 90% of us thought that LSS meant INTC.
After they were "put back in line" with everyone else, TZ referred to LWLG as the INTC of Photonics and spoke of "our friends at IBM." This was also about that time that the breakthrough at IBM & DOW-Corning was announced but before LWLG licensed their chromophores from GLW. Joe Miller was on our BOD back then, formerly VP & CTO of GLW, retiring 5/2012.
