I don't think there was any ambiguity in the term "pre-sales". It was meant surely to *convey* the impression that product had been "pre sold", to suggest revenue was locked it. A lot of the press releases have been ambiguous --- like "management is confident that" followed by a wish list, etc. That one was in contrast, clear.
